This really happened:

Patient:  "There's a Mexican family in the next room, I can hear them speaking Mexican through the walls."

Me:  "I've been meaning to learn Spanish, I have a program sitting on my computer at home."

Patient:  "Not Spanish, Mexican.  They're speaking Mexican."

Me:  "..."
