So, my surgery took longer than expected yesterday. As a result, I had to be catheterized to avoid fluid overload. I had to pry this info out of my friend (the surgeon) as I suspected something when I had a burning sensation later. Now, this would be a nightmare situation normally, especially since this occurred in my own hospital. As a general rule, no one is very "impressive" when they have a catheter in so I was more concerned about a different type of rumor being spread throughout the hospital after my procedure. My fears were at least someone allayed this morning, when I opened up my Facebook and I saw a friend request...from the nurse who put in the catheter.

Nurses would know how to recognize potential, wouldn't they?
More importantly, they would know that under the circumstances, John Holmes would've been unimpressive.
